Prices - our prices are similar to or quite often cheaper than our internet competitors or booking directly and significantly cheaper than those producing expensive brochures whilst our service, knowledge and after sales care is second to none. Security - Rediscover the World is a member of the TTA (T6816), we also hold our own ATOL bond (T7172). We therefore provide full financial security and assistance should any part of your holiday not happen entirely to plan. If you were to assemble your holiday yourself you may not have this sort of protection.

The Xaluca Maadid is an excellent kasbah-style hotel built in traditional style and using authentic materials. The hotel is packed full of Moroccan pottery, traditional lamps and authentic artifacts. The hotel is located a few kms north of Erfoud and is an ideal stopping point if travelling down from Fez in one day as you will not be able to miss it from the road and at the end of a long day's driving this is a bonus.

In our opinion this hotel is the "upgrade" option in the Erfoud area whilst still being good value. The rooms are good quality and there is a large swimming pool and sun terrace which are very welcoming in the parched landscape of southern Morocco. The food is also good and plentiful.

Accommodation: 134 spacious rooms (including a number of suites and there are also 8 family bungalows), all en suite with satellite TV, telephone, a/c, Wi-Fi Internet connection and a mini-bar. There are some rooms which sleep up to 4 persons.

The Junior and Senior Suites are more spacious than the standard rooms.  The suites include a living room, king size bed, complete bathroom, air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi Internet connection and a mini-bar.

The Royal Suites are decorated with traditional local ornaments, offer spacious living rooms and big terraces with views of the dunes. All of them have a king size bed, a complete bathroom with a Jacuzzi and lounge, air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone and a mini-bar. They also have the most advanced hi-fi system and Wi-Fi Internet connection.

The Bungalows, with an independent entrance, are luxury apartments (120 m2) with a kitchen, fridge, living room with a plasma TV, Wi-Fi Internet connection, 2 suites each with a complete bathroom and Jacuzzi, a courtyard and a terrace.  Clients staying in the bungalows can also enjoy of all the services offered in the hotel.

Facilities: International and Moroccan restaurants, saloon bar with giant TV. Free form swimming pool with snack bar. Organisation of desert activities, trekking, 4WD, camel, quad bikes etc. Fitness gym, Tennis court, Football, table tennis. There is now also a mini-golf.

The Hotel has 2 dining rooms: International and Moroccan, both of them have a capacity of 350 diners and a buffet next to the swimming pool.

SPA: spa & Hammam area has 10 massage rooms, Vichy showers, a sauna, an ice machine, a lounge and a hairdressing saloon, among other amenities.
