From our wealth of experience of working in, and travelling around, Morocco as well as putting together practical and interesting itineraries for our clients we would like to recommend the following journeys for you to make the most of your time in this fascinating country. We also have great pleasure in offering you the opportunity to experience Morocco on any of these routes accompanied by one of our excellent team of English-speaking drivers as a private chauffeur and ad hoc guide.

			Reservations - All our holidays are tailor-made so please feel free to request any combination of hotels, riads or tours for your own holiday. The minimum reservation for our accommodation only service is 3 nights in total, although not necessarily at same property. Simply contact us by phone or email or complete one of our enquiry forms. Why Rediscover? - All our reservations staff have worked in Morocco (or visited extensively) and will be more than happy to offer advice and suggestions on any of our featured destinations, tours and properties. Prices - our prices are similar to or quite often cheaper than our internet competitors or booking directly and significantly cheaper than those producing expensive brochures whilst our service, knowledge and after sales care is second to none. Security - Rediscover the World is a member of the TTA (T6816), we also hold our own ATOL bond (T7172). We therefore provide full financial security and assistance should any part of your holiday not happen entirely to plan. If you were to assemble your holiday yourself you may not have this sort of protection.

With our excellent prices for car rental, Morocco is opening up to some quite unique holiday experiences. Roads are pretty good in most places, even in the mountains and desert areas they are mostly asphalted. We do not recommend driving at night though as headlights can be optional and safety barriers on some mountain roads are non-existent. We have all driven extensively around Morocco and will be happy to share our experiences with you if you are at all unsure about self-drive or your chosen route.

NB: All of these itineraries and more can be taken with the services of one of our English-Speaking drivers (or a National Guide). They will drive any type of vehicle at a flat rate of approx. £60 per day per vehicle which includes your driver's food and lodging.

Route no.8 - Grand Route of the South

* Marrakech - Ouarzazate - Zagora - Agdz - Foum Zguid - Tata - Sidi Ifni - Tiznit - Agadir. *

In brief
Day 1 - arr. into Marrakech - private transfer to your hotel - stay 1nt at Hotel Tichka or similar.
Day 2 - take delivery of hire car (Group C with a/c) - head south across High Atlas Mtns via Tizi n Tichka and Kasbahs of Telouet and Ait Ben Haddou (UNESCO). - stay 1nt at Les Tourmalines, overlooking lake near Ouarzazate or Kasbah Ellouze near Ait Ben Haddou.
Day 3 to 5 - continue south down the Draa Valley via Agdz to Zagora and beyond; possible visit to desert camp or stay in the friendly Fibule du Draa Hotel in Zagora. - return back up Draa Valley as far as Agdz and stay at the Kasbah Azul - 1nt HB
Day 5 to 7 - drive off the beaten track to the west passing Foum Zguid and continuing along the great southern road to Tata for a stopover (e.g. La Renaissance Hotel) - continue your journey to the Atlantic coast....
Day 7 to 10 - stay at a choice of places on the "undiscovered" coast of southern Morocco - Mirleft, Sidi Ifni, Aglou Plage.
Day 10/11 - head northwards and to the foothills of the Anti Atlas Mountains, spend a night in Tiznit - stay at Hotel Idou Tiznit, overlooking the entrance to the town.
Day 11 to 14 - arrival into Agadir and relax. - stay a few nights at the lovely Timoulay Hotel.
Day 15 - drop off hire car at airport for flight home from Agadir.
