Hotel Orphee & Villas Plat (3*)

Plat is a hamlet in the area of Zupa Dubrovacka, more precisley between Mlini village and Cavtat. Picturesque scenery and some beautiful little beaches make this an ideal family holiday destination away from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik. The accommodation here is in the recently refurbished buildings of the former hotel Ambassador and although there is obvious evidence from the war in the few unrenovated buildings they actually make the whole complex a more intimate size thesedays. Taking advantage of a wonderful beachfront location and extensive gardens the hotel has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and is ideal for families.

Accommodation: Simple rooms with private bathrooms, mini-bar, satellite TV, telephone and sea-facing balconies. Baby cots available on request. Good quality apartments with kitchenette in smaller ones and a full kitchen in the large ones. All apartments have ceiling fans, bath, WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV and a large sea-facing balcony. NB: Large apartments have the second "bedroom" area on an open-plan basis with the lounge.   

Facilities: Swimming pool with separate children's pool and sun terrace (small charge for beds and parasols), restaurants, taverna, bars, tennis courts, table-tennis and diving school. A local shopping area with pizzeria and cafe is nearby.
