The Kasbah of Telouet - 4WD/Minibus

We therefore provide full financial security and assistance should any part of your holiday not happen entirely to plan. If you were to assemble your holiday yourself you may not have this sort of protection.

Thursdays:

An early (0800 hrs) departure to one of the grandest of all the Atlas fortresses and perhaps the most famous - the Telouet Kasbah. At an altitude of over 7000 feet, this is the one-time stategic home of the 'Lord of the Atlas', the warrior brothers Glaoui, who ruled and rampaged over southern Morocco during the French Protectorate. Sir Winston Churchill and persons such as he were once on the exculsive guest lists. The splendour of the Kasbah is gently fading, yet there is more than enough left of this fascinating and ancient residence to give you a fine example of another epoch in Morocco's colourful history. This easy tour of the Kasbah is one full day from Marrakech, made by Minibus or 4WD - (lunch is not included).
