Our cars vary in size from the compact Fiat Panda 1.1 right up to the VW Caravelle or Mercedes Vito with 9 seats. Generally cars from Group D upwards have air conditioning.
Prices include unlimited coverage for public liability, cover for damage above the amount of the non waivable charge (see below), government tax and CDW.
Not included is the optional Personal Accident Insurance at 3€ per day and the optional Total Collision Damage Waiver at the following rates:
Group A 5€ per day
Group B + C 6€ per day
Group G + D 7€ per day
Group H + I 8€ per day
These optional add-ons would be payable locally.
Usually a non waivable charge/safety deposit is taken when the car is picked up - this will be refunded when the car is left back intact at the end of the rental. This equates to:
Group A, B, C 250€
Group D, G 300€
Group H + I 450€
Delivery and collection outside Funchal or at the airport would be 11.50€ and this is paid locally.
Baby seats and booster seats would cost 3.45€ per day
Each additional driver would cost 11.50€
Drivers must be 23 years old and have a minimum of 1 year driving experience.
