Quinta Mãe dos Homens Garden Village is a collection of self catering apartments situated in an exclusive private estate perched above the city centre of Funchal. With sweeping views over the natural amphitheatre that forms the bay of Funchal , the Quinta Mãe dos Homens has occupied its privileged position for 150 years.

Our studios are extremely spacious with double or twin beds and a generous lounge area. The studios are equipped with a separate bathroom and corridor kitchenette (including microwave oven) - Sleeps 2-4 (with use of sofa bed)

The attic styled family studios are full of unique charm; situated on the first floor they offer breathtaking views. Family studios are furnished with twin beds in the main lounge area, and also have a single bedroom, ideal for children. They come with kitchenette (including microwave oven) and separate bathroom - Sleeps from 3-5 (with use of sofa bed)

The spacious twin bedroom apartments have a full open plan kitchen and a generous lounge. All rooms have a sofa bed should you need extra accommodation, and a full size kitchen with conventional gas oven and rings - Sleeps from 2-4 (with use of sofa bed)

Facilities include the centrally located solar heated swimming pool, surrounded by a terrace with sunbeds. Beside the pool there is a small bar designed to keep you refreshed during the day. Above the pool area is the clubhouse which has a lounge, a small library, cable television and a terrace with fabulous views over the bay of Funchal, next to the pool bar is the dinning room which is used for weekly informal barbecues, and for breakfast (pre-bookable if required).

A maid service is offered 6 days a week. All apartments are provided with linen and towels and are cleaned twice a week. Pool towels are also provided.
