If you would like to stay a little longer in Libya and enjoy the sights and sounds of Tripoli or relax at the beach then please ask us for details at the time of booking your main tour. We can simply add a few nights in a hotel of your choice in the city or perhaps spend some time at the new Dar el Telil Hotel on the beach near Sabratha.

Sahara
If you had planned to do one of the main sightseeing trips around the north of Libya and fancied a few days in or near the desert then there are a few options:
1. The Grand Tour of Libya includes all the sites of the north plus a side trip to Ghadames which is on the edge of the desert.			2. Following the Jewels, Long Weekend or Roman Libya tours you could add either the whole of the "Touaregs & Camels" tour or perhaps a couple of nights near to Sebha with internal flights each way. This would allow you time to visit the desert lakes and the high dunes which are close to Sebha.
NB. Visiting the south of Libya is an adventure as the accommodation cannot be compared to that of the north. Accommodation in parts of the desert will be camping in tents or pre-arranged camping sites - see below:
