Security - Rediscover the World is a member of the TTA (T6816), we also hold our own ATOL bond (T7172). We therefore provide full financial security and assistance should any part of your holiday not happen entirely to plan. If you were to assemble your holiday yourself you may not have this sort of protection.

The Kanz Erremal is a classic hotel on the edge of the dunes at Erg Chebbi, it has a prime position and a good variety of accommodation to suit individuals, families and groups wishing to spend time at the Sahara.Its configuration and the use of traditional Moroccan materials are designed to create a different microclimate inside the hotel, providing guests with areas that give a cosy sensation of protection and comfort. hotel and Kasbah is built around a large central space with light from above with the different parts of the hotel emerging from it. The ground floor houses the reception, café and bar, lounges, dining rooms and other public rooms.

Accommodation: There are 8 standard rooms, known as the Traditional Kasbah. The rooms are on the first floor, laid out around the interior balcony. They all have views of the dunes, the desert and the palm trees. They have twin beds and the option of installing a third single bed, on request.

All rooms and suites have - air conditioning, heating and private bathrooms with external views. Interior decoration with handmade objects from the region of Tafilatel: rugs, pottery, lamps, wooden and cane ceilings, hand-created tiles from Rissani. It has a panoramic view of the dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Dunes Suite - This charming room is on one corner of the Kasbah, overlooking the dunes of Merzouga. There is a double bed and one single bed.

Balcony Suite - This is a beautiful room forming a corner. It has a private balcony with views of the dunes of Merzouga. There is a double bed and two twin beds.

Tower Suites - each corner of the terrace is a Tower Suite. These rooms are those that create the effect of the hotel Kasbah and are quite large. These rooms have the best views in the hotel. There is a double bed and two single beds.

The result of an ancient tradition, the cuisine on offer is based on top quality natural ingredients, created by the horticulturists and farmers of Merzouga, the traditional markets, called Kefs, and on the skilful use of aromatic herbs and spices.  The Kashba Kanz Erremal Hotel offers its guests rich and varied examples of the well-known traditional Moroccan gastronomy. The restaurant serves “harira” (spicy soup), vegetable “tajine” with chicken, veal, lamb, a variety of couscous, salads with raw and cooked ingredients, brochettes, purées, crepes and Berber pizzas, among other dishes.

There is a fabulous swimming-pool supplied with water from a well. Its layout creates the unique sensation of bathing in the middle of the desert. It is the perfect place for relaxing after exploring the dunes of Merzouga. The hotel has large terraces overlooking the Merzouga dunes, with tables and chairs for guests to have breakfast while they contemplate the dunes which stretch as far as the eye can see. The balcony on the first floor has a layout and furniture, giving it enormous charm. It has a wonderful view of Erg Chebbi. Guests can also access the rooftop terrace which has a panoramic view of the area surrounding the hotel, the Berber tent camp, the hotel palm trees, the camels and the desert.

There is a Berber tent camp near the hotel. This camp allows you to experience life in the desert close up, and enjoy the adventure and contact with nature, with all the comforts of running water and baths. The tent camp has the following - mattresses, sheets, blankets, rugs, electricity. Guests in the Berber tent camp have access to all the hotel services and facilities, including the dining room, toilets and swimming pool. The camp also has two adjoining buildings with toilets and showers.
