The Palace hotel is the oldest hotel in Hvar, the hotel is located overlooking the harbour and is close ideally situated for exploring Hvar town. The hotel offers breathtaking views of the bay and the Paklleski islands. The Palace, Hvar is a grand dame framed by gothic and renaissance architecture. History lovers will particularly enjoy its central location, which provides romantic views of the ancient piazza and neighbouring buildings such as St. Stephen’s Cathedral, as well as glorious sunsets over the bay.

The hotel itself, built at the turn of the twentieth century, has graciously aged charm and character that mirrors that of the island itself. Guests can dine to the snap and strum of live ensembles on the Palm Restaurant’s terrace overlooking the yacht harbour. From the Adriatic ambiance to the ancient architecture on down to the live bands everything at The Palace is classic. The Palace's exterior has had some preservation work and its interior refurbished in recent years.

Spacious and comfortable, junior suites feature gorgeous views of Hvar’s bay and the Paklinski Islands. Some of the juniors also include terraces where guest can stretch their arms in the fresh morning air.
Superior Rooms (6)
Superior rooms, with their small balconies, are quite elegant. They offer unique views of the sun setting over the Paklinski Islands and of the yachts anchored in the harbor.
Standard Rooms (52)
Available with sea or city views, both history buffs and sea lovers will find the standard rooms at The Palace cozy and attractive. These rooms are ideal for double occupancy and available with a king-size bed or twin beds.
*Sea view rooms are equipped with bathtubs and city view rooms with showers.
Single Rooms (4)
Slightly smaller than our standard rooms and equipped with a single bed, these rooms are economical and ideal for single occupancy.

San Marco, venetian terrace

The Palm Restaurant and Arsenal Bar, located on a spacious terrace at The Palace hotel, has become well known for its classy live bands, outstanding harbor-front ambiance and its quality food and drink.

The Red Salon conference room is approximately 90 square meters, making it suitable for meetings, conferences, presentations, cocktail parties, banquets, and a variety of celebrations for up to 60 persons.
The old Venetian city loggia is property of the town of Hvar and approximately 150 square meters. It is an ideal and elegant venue for wedding ceremonies, cocktail parties, banquets, presentations, exhibitions, meetings and conferences.
