The Sahara feels like such a distant image that it would not seem possible to get there and back in two days from Zagora but with Rediscover the World a visit to the real desert of Morocco's deep south is a reality. The nearest section of the Sahara in just a little south of Zagora and it is in this region that we offer some stunning experiences - the '04z' at Erg Lihoudi, the '01z' at Tellougui Oasis and the 03z which is an extended camel Meharee throug the whole area.

All travel is by 4WD vehicle, most meals are included and, crucially, there is an extended camel ride into the desert with an overnight stay in a Berber tent in a beautiful and peaceful setting.

From the small kasbah-like Hotel Fibule Du Drâa in the oasis village of Zagora we set out by camel meharee for our adventure into a desert of many small dunes and small palmeraies, isolated enough for your imagination to take hold.
