Croatia's Dalmatian Coast mixes a sunny climate with historic cities and one of the most breathtaking stretches of scenic shoreline in the whole Mediterranean. Today's Croatia is one of the countries of the "New Europe"; however, it will not take the visitor very long to discover the evidence of a rich cultural legacy and influence from the Greeks and Romans to the Hapsburgs and most strikingly of all, particularly in towns like Dubrovnik, the Venetians.

The 1100 miles of coastline is stunning in itself but the myriad of islands and islets along its length (over 1000) add to its beauty as well as offering additional choices for places to stay or visit as part of a holiday to Croatia. The outstanding scenery of the Dalmatian Coast is not the only jewel in the crown, there is a mountainous interior to explore including the Plitvice National Park (one of our favourite places, full of waterfalls and lakes), the many Venetian-influenced towns, the cosmopolitan and vibrant capital, Zagreb, and numerous excursions by boat or across the border into Bosnia and Montenegro.

Our holiday programme to Croatia covers the whole country from the south around Dubrovnik to the north on the Istrian Peninsula. There are many flights from London and UK regional airports into Dubrovnik, Split, Pula, Zadar, Rijeka and Zagreb. Why not consider one of our popular fly-drives utilising a flight into one airport and home from another which enables more sightseeing time, this is particulalrly useful if you wish to include Zagreb or the National Parks, e.g. Plitvice Lakes.
