Heading out to Ancient Corinth, you make a stop at the Corinth canal.
When Paul arrived at Corinth it was five times as large as Athens and the capital of the province. Ancient Corinth was the richest port and the largest city in ancient Greece, Strategically located guarding the narrow isthmus that connects the Peloponnesus to the mainland, it was a powerful commercial centre near two seaports.
Greek wine is renowned the world over - the country has been producing wine since the Neolithic Age- 4000 B.C. Wine has long been adored, praised and chanted in the name of the god Dionysus. Nemea is one of the most popular vineyards in Greece. Here you will visit the state-of- the-art winery facilities and learn everything about the production of Greek quality red wine finishing off in the underground cellars with more than 1000 French oak barriques.
