Security - Rediscover the World is a member of the TTA (T6816), we also hold our own ATOL bond (T7172). We therefore provide full financial security and assistance should any part of your holiday not happen entirely to plan. If you were to assemble your holiday yourself you may not have this sort of protection.

Samos Town and the 19th Century administrative centre of Ano Vathi make up the island's capital. A bustling picturesque harbour maintains its traditional occupations during the day (fishing boats mingle with ferries to neighbouring islands). The town comes alive with the business of entertainment in the evenings with a selection of lively bars, sophisticated cafes and restaurants. This is the perfect place to take a walk through the narrow streets and enjoy Greek life to the full.

The island with such a lovely and varying landscape, great interests of archaeology and history of civilization, being the birthplace of the beautiful goddess ‘Hera’ and of the famous mathematician ‘Pythagoras’, offers something special for everyone. Lonely and remote beaches, marvellous bays with crystal-clear sea, the original, wild-romantic mountains with lots of footpaths leading through olive, lemon and cypress groves, along vineyards, shady forests, through picturesque and traditional mountain villages with fantastic views, a wide range of activities and lots of interesting and adventurous excursions on the island itself.

Located on a hillside with a panoramic view, 800 m from Samos town, the Ino Village is situated in the area of Kalami just 20 min walk from the centre of Samos town and 5 min. from the beautiful and well-know beach “Gangou”.

All rooms are fully furnished in elegant Greek style and include a private bathroom, direct-dial phone, music, TV, mini fridge, hair dryer, safe box and spacious balconies offering sea, mountain and pool views for your enjoyment of breathtaking sunsets.

Enjoy breakfast as well as refreshing drinks on the big hotel veranda. Furthermore, the hotel offers a good-sized swimming pool and snack bar.

Our opinion: Quiet location and stunning views from most rooms and the terrace. A good base from which to explore the rest of the island.

Located 500 m from the port on a hill overlooking the harbour. Enjoy the hustle and bustle of Samos Town AND a quiet relaxing location. The nearest beach is pebbly and 300 m away.

All rooms are twin rooms with shower, telephone, music, balcony or terrace. Facilities at the hotel include reception with safety deposit boxes, breakfast room and lounge, snack bar and rooftop bar with sun terrace. Occasional BBQ nights.

Our opinion: Panoramic sun terrace is a nice touch, simple good value accommodation.

IONIA MARIS

VIRGINIA HOTEL

The Ionia Maris is situated in the area of Kalami on Gagou Beach just 1 km from the town centre. Each room is fully furnished with balcony, air-conditioning and all necessary private facilities. Furthermore it offers lobby with reception area, lounge with large terraces, TV room, dining room, bar, swimming pool, snack bar, restaurant as well as a hairdresser and two shops.

This hospitable, family hotel is located 500m from the town centre and 1.5 km from the beach. The Virginia Hotel is built in the traditional style with marvellous views towards both the mountain and the sea.

It offers reception area, breakfast room and a snack bar, roof garden with swimming pool and pool-bar with panoramic view of Samos town. All rooms are fully equipped with private balcony, WC/shower, fridge, TV, air conditioning, radio and direct dial telephone.

AEOLIS HOTEL

The hotel "AEOLIS" with its marvellous neo-classical architecture is situated in the centre of the town of Samos, on the seaside road linking the main square with the harbour. It is situated 200m from the port, 800m from the nearest beach and 50m from the shopping area of the town.

The 50 rooms in the "AEOLIS" hotel have balconies. All the rooms are sunny and have been comfortably furnished and fitted with modern bathrooms, air-conditioning and central heating, phones, satellite TV, fridge and hairdryer.

This centrally located family hotel is opened throughout the year. It is located only 150 m from the port, 15 km from the airport, 200 m from the centre and the nearest beach.

MYRINI HOTEL

The Myrini Hotel is situated in the outskirts of Samos Town, 15 minutes walk from the centre and 100 m from Gangou Beach. The hotel offers reception, TV room, breakfast room, bar with terrace overlooking the gulf of Samos, card room.

All rooms are modern furnished with music, direct dial phone, shower/WC and balcony. Some of them have air conditioning, TV and mini fridge.

The Paradise Hotel is situated in Samos Town, within walking distance from the centre. Built among olive trees and beautiful gardens, this family hotel promises you a wonderful vacation.

All rooms are air-conditioned (July-August) with balcony, mini-bar, hair dryer, direct line telephone and radio. The hotels also has a spacious lounge, verandas, bar, snack bar and swimming pool.

SAMOS HOTEL

The Samos Hotel is a lovely hotel on the port and in the centre of Samos. Recently renovated, 63 rooms overlook the sea and the rest have a garden view.

All rooms have TV, radio, telephone, fridge, air-conditioning, balcony and private facilities. The hotel’s roof garden overlooks the port where you can enjoy your drink in the bar. Also during the day refresh yourself at the swimming pool and Jacuzzi.

The Helen Hotel offers a family friendly environment to make your vacation beautiful. It is situated 100 m from the port and in the centre of Samos town.

All rooms have private bathroom, telephone, ceiling fan, TV and refrigerator. At the visitor’s disposal are also a bar, breakfast room, safety box, reception, lift and a lounge with a TV.

STUDIOS TOULA

Situated in Samos town only 10 minutes walk from the centre and only 30m from the organized beach “Roditses”. All studios have mini-fridge, kitchenette, WC/shower and balcony with sea view.
