		Itinerary
Day 1		Arrive into Athens, private transfer to your city hotel and the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Athens.
Day 2		In the morning you will enjoy a city tour. See the highlights of Athens, one of the most ancient cities in the world, its famed Acropolis and its museum. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Athens.
Day 3		Early morning departure for the Argolis region. There will be a short stop for photos at the Corinth Canal - if you are fortunate there may be a ship passing through! Drive to Epidavros and visit the ancient theatre whose acoustics are reputed to be the best in the world. Proceed to Nafplion where there will be a short stop and through the plain of Argos to arrive at Mycenae. Visit the archaeological site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. In the afternoon (optional stop for souvenirs) depart for Olympia, the birth place of the Olympic Games, through the cities of Tripolis and Megalopolis, where there will be a short stop. Dinner and overnight in Olympia.
Day 4		Visit the archaeological site of Olympia with the Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera, the altar of the Olympic flame, the Stadium and the archaeological Museum. Depart via Patras (short stop) to Rion where you will cross the Corinthian bay on the bridge to Antirion. Pass by the city of Nafpaktos and from there on, along the coastal road, to Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. In the afternoon visit the picturesque mountain village of Arachova (time permitting). Dinner and overnight in Delphi.
Day 5		Visit the archaeological site, and, the museum of Delphi. Depart for Kalambaka in the afternoon via the scenic villages of central Greece (short stop by Lamia). Overnight stay in Kalambaka - a small town built at the foot of the majestic grey rocks and crowned by the Meteora Monasteries. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka
Day 6		Visit the Byzantine monasteries of Meteora in the morning, return to Athens via the monument to heroic Leonidas at Thermopylae. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight Athens.
Day 7		Day at leisure or optional cruise to Saronic Gulf Islands or optional half day tour to Cape Sounion. Overnight Athens.
Day 8		Transfer to airport or second week hotel / resort.
		Board Basis: Bed and Breakfast in Athens (4 nights) and Half Board on the Classical Tour (3 nights)
